Curry Draws Not One but Two Republican Challengers

January 22, 2024, Gunnison, Colorado — Kathleen Curry’s previous experience at the Colorado State Capitol and her ongoing work at the legislature advocating for west slope water, agriculture, and wildlife interests truly sets her apart from the other candidates in the race for Colorado House District 58. Forty-seven percent of the active voters in the district are registered as unaffiliated. The voters are ready for a representative who will effectively fight for the interests of all the voters — regardless of affiliation. The two new candidates will be facing each other in a partisan primary. Meanwhile, Kathleen will be focusing on what is happening at the Capitol that could impact our district. In furthering her campaign, Curry remarked, “My campaign needs strong fundraising during this first quarter of 2024. We need to show my opponents that I am in it to win.” Donations can be made online at curryforcolorado.com/donate or by sending a check to Curry for Colorado, PO Box 7121, Gunnison, CO 81230.
