What a wonderful event for the North Fork Community.A great group of folks at the Dilly Deli in Gunnison. They got to hear how Kathleen will get things done in Denver for everyone. She understands that legislating requires collaboration, compromise, and civility. Her opponent seems more focused on division and conspiracies.As one spectator mentioned to me, "It was so obvious from the start of the Club 20 debate, who took this debate seriously, who spent time preparing for it, and who is the qualified candidate to represent every one of us in HD58."Constituents in Paonia shared their concerns about water and the outdated water treatment facility that is a pressing issue. Kathleen shared her ideas and solutions, providing a clear understanding of her expertise in water management and her genuine care and concern for the North Fork.On Sunday, August 11th, in Gunnison, I bumped into Phil Weiser, the Attorney General of Colorado! Afterward, Kathleen went door-to-door and then headed to Dove Creek for the Cattlemen's Association Dinner. Kathleen is working hard, just as she will for you in Denver.It was a lovely summer evening in Montrose. Kathleen listened to people eager to preserve Montrose's agricultural history and is committed to safeguarding western slope water resources.Kathleen met with some engaged Lake City residents last week. They discussed the issues that matter to them: public education, affordable housing, and public lands management.Curry signs are popping up all over HD58, including Lake City!Kathleen at the Crawford Day Festival on August 8thKathleen had engaging conversations with local ranchers and organic farmers in the North Fork. They all left with "Vote Curry" yard signs, and some wanted to hang her banner on their properties!It was a great Saturday morning participating in the Delta Country Fair and Rodeo Parade. From there, we went to the Hotchkiss Fairgrounds to meet with constituents at our booth.Team Curry is ready for this weekend’s Delta County Fair and Rodeo Parade. This banner is in downtown Hotchkiss. We will be in the parade at 10:00 AM on Saturday morning and then we have a booth all day Saturday at the fairgrounds. Be sure to come and see us!A great morning in Crawford at the Lazy J Coffee Shop. Over 50 folks showed up to visit with Kathleen. She got to share her legislative background and her experience and knowledge advocating for the issues that impact all our lives in HD58.Great turnout at Cattleman's Days to help support Kathleen (with Cole Buerger, candidate for State Senate District 5)It was a wonderful night meeting with great folks from Crested Butte.
